Job Description Job Description Assistant Property Manager Location: Rockwall, TX Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 DOE Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM PrideStaff has partnered with a commercial real estate company that is looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join their team! Manage all lease administration, accounts receivable, and collections activities. Responsible for accurate data input, financial record-keeping, tenant communication, and supporting the Property Management team. Responsibilities Lease Administration & System Management Abstract, input, and maintain all new and renewal lease terms, charges, and exceptions in SkyLine and Rent Manager property management software. Setup new tenants and manage third-party payment software, including adding properties, troubleshooting, and processing integrated reports. Prepare, distribute, and audit the monthly commercial rent roll for accuracy. Manage the preparation and distribution of Welcome and Renewal Packets; ensure all forms are completed and entered into the system. Assist in coordinating new management property takeovers, including preparing and sending Takeover Packets. Collaborate with real estate brokers on new leases and renewals. Accounts Receivable & Collections Execute monthly rent, utility, and miscellaneous billings (e-billing and manual). Process daily deposits (remote banking/in-person) and post all payments (ACH, check) into the property management software. Manage tenant accounts: research payment details, ensure ledger accuracy, and generate Excel ledgers for tenants as required. Handle collections, including sending rent reminder statements, late notices, and Default Notices (in coordination with the Property Manager). Close property management books monthly and generate owner reports. Communication & Support Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant communications regarding billing and lease details. Attend bi-weekly property management meetings to report on collections and renewals. Provide general assistance to the Property Management team, including: Pulling credit reports. Assisting with phone calls, screening, and greeting visitors. Utilizing software training modules to improve system efficiency. Requirements Experience: Basic understanding of accounting/bookkeeping (debits, credits, ledgers). Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel (basic functions), and Teams. Skills: Strong written and verbal communication. High level of organization and attention to detail. Proven critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
