Job Description
Position Summary: The Assistant Property Manager supports daily property operations, ensuring efficient work order management, tenant relations, and compliance with HUD and CHA regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assist with leasing, recertifications, and maintenance coordination.
Primary Job Duties:
Work Order & Maintenance Coordination:
Run, schedule, and update daily work order reports (emergency, urgent, routine).
Ensure timely processing and closure of work orders in Yardi.
Tenant Relations & Leasing:
Process new tenant move-in paperwork in accordance with Tenant Selection Plan & CHA guidelines.
Assist with recertifications (interviews, paperwork, rent calculations, lease preparations).
Respond to resident and applicant inquiries via phone and email.
Show apartments to prospective tenants if applicable.
Property Inspections & Compliance:
Conduct internal unit inspections as directed by the Property Manager.
Ensure compliance with HUD and CHA regulations.
Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate reports and records.
Step in for the Property Manager when required.
