Job Title: Carpenter Job Description

Join as a commercial carpenter, where your primary responsibility will be to create structures out of wood. You will play a crucial role in constructing building frames and using hand and power tools to install cabinets and other small-scale wooden structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform rough framing, install sheathing, and erect scaffolding.
• Install cabinets, trim, doors, and windows.
• Assist in remodeling existing structures.
• Create unique fixtures or supports.
• Design and build exhibits for museums.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with other trades and communicate effectively with clients and co-workers.

• Experience with hand and power tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of carpentry experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience with hand and power tools.
• 5+ years of on-the-job experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wausau, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
