Job Title: Construction Assistant
Location: Hampton Bays, NY
Pay Rate: $21 – $25 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (some Saturdays based on workload and deadlines)

Job Description:

We are seeking a hardworking  Construction Assistant to support various construction and repair projects, including pools, patios, and residential structures. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and able to perform physically demanding tasks in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE
• Assist with site preparation, repair work, and daily clean-up
• Perform demolition and prep work using tools such as jackhammers, pickaxes, and shovels
• Support masonry, carpentry, plumbing, tilework, and other general labor as needed
• Help with yard maintenance, vehicle or building cleanup, and snow removal when required

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant construction experience
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
