Cabinetry Finisher – Trusted Tradesmen & Co

Trusted Tradesmen & Co is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinetry Finisher to join our custom cabinetry team. This position is responsible for applying premium finishes to high-end cabinetry crafted from a variety of wood species.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, hardworking, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. You will work closely with our cabinet makers to ensure every piece meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and finish quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepping parts for finish
  • Apply finishes including primer, stains, paints, varnishes, glazes, and bleaches to custom cabinetry.
  • Operate a variety of spray equipment and tools using appropriate tips and techniques.
  • Mix and apply finishing materials with precision and consistency.
  • Monitor and adjust for environmental factors that may impact finish quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized finishing area and ensure proper handling of materials and chemicals.
  • Mitigating and resolving finished based issues that arise
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in wood finishing with high-end custom cabinetry.
  • Proficiency with different types of sprayers, chemicals, and finishing methods.
  • Understanding of how temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors affect finishes.
  • Experience with both lacquer and water-based finishing products (water-based experience is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing top-quality work.
