Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You're in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities

• Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures
• Collaborate with other personnel who will help you with maintenance tasks
• Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues
• React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts
• Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff
• Respond to all Guest assistance requests in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary
• Valid drivers license and good driving record required
• Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred
• The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required
• Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance
