Quad Chalfont is hiring an experienced Industrial Electrician
\n
SUMMARY: The Electrician must have well-rounded industrial electrical skills, and knowledge of set-up and repair of a broad range of production equipment, AC/DC drives PLCs, & relay logic. This position requires troubleshooting skills at the board level. The wage range for this position is $20 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience level. Willing to train with some experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

\n - Provide electrical support for all equipment and facilities.
\n - Demonstrate skills in all phases of job responsibility including electrical troubleshooting.
\n - Self-development and development of interpersonal skills.
\n
\n
REQUIREMENTS (Specific knowledge, skills, education, and abilities):
\n
\n - Experience troubleshooting systems ranging from relay logic to microprocessor-based controls.
\n - Knowledge of the NEC and some light electrical construction experience is helpful.
\n - Ability to read, create, and understand electrical schematics is required.
\n - PC literacy and CAD experience are a plus.
\n - Follows all Quad Graphics safety procedures.
\n - Performs daily housekeeping functions.
\n - Maintains a work-safe environment.
\n - Cleans spill immediately.
\n - Ensures guards are in place at all times.
\n - Ensures electrical covers are in place at all times.
\n - Wears proper hearing protection at all times.
\n - Wears proper safety shoes at all times.
\n - Lifts properly.
\n - Attends monthly “Safety Talk” department meetings.
\n - Can understand HMIS labels and interpret Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
\n - Actively participates in safety programs, policies, and initiatives.
\n - Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
\n
\n - High School diploma or equivalent
\n - 5 years of maintenance experience on presses and folding or similar equipment in an industrial manufacturing setting.
\n - Knowledge of diagnosis and repair of machinery electrical controls.
\n - The ability to work a 12-hour night shift ( 6 p.m. - 6 a.m.) including weekends, and holidays, working 3 - 4 days a week, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and rotating Saturdays.
