Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year
Mountain Community Health Partnership is seeking a full time Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for our new in-house 340B pharmacy. This is a unique opportunity to shape a pharmacy from the ground up, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise pharmacy staff including technicians, pharmacists, and support personnel.
- Manage daily operations including prescription fulfilment, inventory control, and customer service.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with the 340b program.
- Collaborate with the Pharmacy Director on budgeting, permitting, software setup, and equipment decisions.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and uphold best practices in medication storage and dispensing.
- Provide patient counseling on medication use, dosage, and side effects.
- Monitor pharmacy appearance, product displays, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or RPh required.Active NC pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain within 60 days.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy managerial role preferred.Experience with 340b programs and third-party contract review is a plus. Knowledge in insurance billing, reimbursement, and pharmacy revenue cycles.
