Job Description

Position Overview We are currently looking for a QA/Release Manager in the European Union . As a key member of our team, you will lead and refine the software release lifecycle for a fast‑growing enterprise tech environment. You will oversee the end‑to‑end process of testing, validation, and delivery for on‑premises software solutions, collaborating closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to ensure each release meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and stability. Accountabilities Lead and implement a comprehensive QA strategy, ensuring consistent testing practices across the organization Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test plans tailored for on‑prem environments Oversee functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to guarantee release quality Manage the entire release lifecycle—from build creation to packaging, documentation, and final delivery Ensure version control, upgrade paths, and rollback procedures are validated and reproducible Define and monitor QA metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and release validation rates Collaborate with DevOps to improve CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated testing workflows Coordinate with engineering and product teams to ensure release readiness, communication, and sign‑off Continuously enhance processes and automation to increase efficiency and reduce manual work Conduct retrospective reviews to identify improvement areas in the release and QA cycle Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in QA, Release Management, or a related software delivery role Proven background in on‑premises or enterprise software release processes Strong understanding of software packaging and distribution (e.g., Docker, Helm, Debian/RPM, or VM images) Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright Hands‑on experience with CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitLab CI) and artifact repositories (Artifactory, Nexus) Solid Linux and scripting skills, with attention to reproducibility and reliability Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities Skilled in cross‑team coordination, documentation, and agile methodologies Familiarity with configuration management and version control systems Bonus points for experience with on‑prem deployments, Kubernetes, Docker, or security testing Certifications such as ISTQB, PMP, or similar credentials are a plus Benefits Remote or hybrid work options across the EU, based on your preference 25 days of vacation + 5 flexible days for personal use Pluxee Flexi Card allowance (up to 16,000 CZK annually) Anniversary rewards recognizing long‑term contributions Work with diverse international teams in a collaborative environment Pet‑friendly office with snacks, coffee, and refreshments available Regular company events fostering connection and innovation A hands‑on, founder‑led culture that values autonomy, growth, and work‑life balance #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobgether
