A K-12 school in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students through a contract position for the current school year (CSY). The role offers an opportunity to work directly with a meaningful caseload in a structured educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to students
  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs
  • Collect and document data on student progress and behavior
  • Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and other school staff to support student goals
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) discussions

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
  • Prior experience as an RBT in a school or clinical setting is required
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 15-25 students effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with students and school teams
  • Flexibility and professionalism in adhering to scheduled hours and school protocols

Schedule:

  • Part-time, three days per week
  • Hours from 8:00 AM to 2:40 PM
