Overview

Dr. Salha & the team at Atrium Dental Studio are excited to announce an opening for an upbeat & team oriented registered dental assistant to be part of our growing, modern office! Our focus is patient centered care with outstanding customer service. We put the patient first and want our candidate to do the same. Our office is in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle with ample street parking and plenty of fun restaurants/shops within walking distance. Job description:

• Chair-side assisting for all aspects of general dentistry (surgical experience is a plus but not a requirement to apply)
• Maintain an aseptic technique throughout all dental procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
• Take digital radiographs to aid in diagnosis of oral conditions
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and information security.
• Support the front office with managing patient flow as needed.
• Manage patient records, including dental coding and documentation of treatments performed.
• Low stress & easy-going patient demographic of all ages

Requirements to apply:

• Must have a current RDA license
• Ideally at least 2 years experience as a chair-side dental assistant
• Proficient in dental terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and ability to implement them effectively in the clinical setting.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating professionalism at all times.

Patients are seen Monday - Thursday 8:00AM to 5:00 PM. Staff arrives at 7:30 AM and are out by 5:15 PM.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: Monday - Thursday, 32 – 36 per week
