Job Description

At Clementine Malibu Lake, located in Agoura Hills, CA, we are dedicated to saving lives and helping individuals discover their path to a healthy self. Our residential treatment program specializes in providing care for adolescents dealing with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction.

We are currently looking for a passionate full-time Registered Dietitian to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in supporting adolescents and their families on the journey toward recovery. As a key member of our clinical and leadership teams, the Registered Dietitian will collaborate with all disciplines to ensure optimal client care.

Our nutrition programming is grounded in principles of health and the cultivation of self-trust and internally-directed eating. With this solid foundation, clients repair their relationships with food and embark on a journey to a full, recovered life.

Our evidence-informed nutritional care emphasizes:

  • Understanding that healthy individuals come in various shapes and sizes.
  • Believing that all bodies deserve nourishment and the experience of satiety.
  • A behavior-focused approach instead of a weight-focused one.
  • Recognizing that weight loss efforts can hinder recovery from eating disorders.
  • Providing open and accessible kitchen environments that feel homelike.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a late start one day per week.

Salary: $68,000 - $100,000 per year.

This position may also qualify for a $5,000 sign-on bonus!

Your Total Rewards: By joining our team, you will enjoy comprehensive benefits including:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Retirement plans
  • Company-paid life insurance and disability coverage
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
  • Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
  • Generous paid time off
  • Professional development opportunities
  • And many more!

We are committed to diversity and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee meal preparation for clients on campus, maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Ensure that all nutritional services comply with established standards and regulations.
  • Conduct nutritional assessments for clients and track their nutrition intake.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized Master Treatment Plans.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience working in healthcare, with a preference for psychiatric settings.
  • Must hold valid Registered Dietitian credentials.
  • CPR/BLS certification required before starting work.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in relevant software.
  • A genuine passion for helping clients achieve their goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
