A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Social Worker to support students at an elementary school in Ada, MI. This role is essential in fostering the social and emotional development of young learners, helping to create a safe and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, social, and behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans and support student success
• Conduct assessments and advocate for student needs within the educational setting
• Facilitate crisis intervention and connect families with munity resources as required
• Maintain confidential records and ply with all school and legal requirements related to student welfare

Desired Qualifications:

• Degree in Social Work with applicable licensure or certification
• Previous experience in school social work preferred, particularly with elementary-aged children
• Strong understanding of child development, mental health issues, and educational systems
• Excellent munication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and families
