Founded in Berlin, autarc is a 35+ person startup who were part of Y Combinators S24 batch in San Francisco. Our team consists of people in Sales, Tech and Operations, with the Engineering & Product department currently 20 people, as we continue to grow throughout the year.

Role description

You will be working alongside several other Engineers as part of a small team focusing on specific product features for our Heating product. This will mean enhancing the OS for our core customer market.

As an Engineer within the team, you will be exposed to working on something 1-10, as an early member in our journey. Youll be continuously involved in decision making, as opposed to having narrow and machinelike tasks in a larger organisation.

This work will consist of building UI links and widgets, mapping out data and correlating systems so that they work seamlessly. Other examples of features include allowing users to import and export 3D scans and renders, handling billing/invoicing, as well as managing their subscriptions.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Creating Frontend applications in React
  • Focusing on flawless Frontend designs and UI
  • Interacting with the Design team to improve UX
  • Be handson in designing, coding and testing cycles for both existing and new features
  • Develop B2B SaaS applications
  • Have a high level of responsibility to turn ideas into performant and reliable code

The role is Fullstack, with a 80/20 split between Frontend & Backend.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of working experience
  • Exposure to working with Frontend technologies such as React, Typescript and TailwindCSS
  • Database, Backend and Cloud experience is a nice to have
  • Experience building B2B SaaS products
  • Based in Berlin with a willingness to work hybrid (3 days in the office)
