Senior Legal Recruiting Assistant – Hybrid
Salary Range: $66,000–$73,000
Overview
A leading global law firm is seeking a Senior Attorney Recruiting Assistant to support its Attorney Recruiting team across attorney hiring, summer program coordination, event planning, and departmental operations. This hybrid, non-exempt role offers hands-on involvement in key recruiting cycles and high-visibility initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of the on-campus (OCI) and lateral attorney interview process, including applicant tracking, scheduling, evaluation collection, and Hiring Committee materials.
- Support the full summer associate program: onboarding, training coordination, social events, work assignment distribution, and evaluation processes.
- Manage local law school sponsorships and related logistics.
- Plan and execute attorney and office events, including engagement programming.
- Oversee vendor and event contract management—draft revisions, negotiate pricing, and coordinate approvals with internal stakeholders.
- Serve as a primary contact for attorneys, candidates, summer associates, and law school partners.
- Provide general administrative support, including processing expenses, managing spreadsheets, drafting check requests, answering phones, and completing special projects.
- Ensure recruiting processes align with firm policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Provide overflow support and coverage within the department as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative or recruiting experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint; ability to learn platforms such as FloRecruit and Symplicity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional discretion when working with confidential information.
- Strong initiative, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Flexibility to travel and to attend evening events, especially during peak recruiting periods.
- Willingness to adjust working hours as needed to meet business demands.
