Job Description

Terms of Employment:

Duration: Convertible Contract-to-Hire.

Location/Remote Status: Hybrid (Must be local to Reston, VA area and commute to the office 1-2 times per week)

Overview:

Work with a leading organization to serve as a strategic Product Owner driving a major ServiceNow platform transformation. This critical, high-impact role requires a vision-focused leader to define and execute the product roadmap for customer business solutions, leveraging core ServiceNow modules like Customer Service Management (CSM), IT Service Management (ITSM), and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM). This is an excellent contract-to-hire opportunity for a local candidate to embed with the client team and contribute to long-term digital strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive and define the strategic product vision for the Customer's business transformation using the ServiceNow platform.

Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives.

Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and variable workloads.

Apply advanced knowledge of business and management principles to product planning and life cycle development.

Recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of complex technical and business problems related to implementation.

Effectively communicate with stakeholders, both written and verbal, providing excellent customer service.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT and business analysis, solutions development, systems analysis, or technical design/implementation OR 4 years of dedicated Product Owner experience.

Bachelor's Degree in Product Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree).

Demonstrated, hands-on knowledge and experience with ServiceNow implementation, particularly with the CSM, ITSM, and/or CRM modules.

Strong knowledge of project planning and life cycle development.

Advanced ability with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working within the healthcare industry.

Possession of an Advanced Degree.

Certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
