Job Description
PrideStaff is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk for an industrial wholesaler located in Charlotte, NC. Receives goods and logs them into the system. Prepares goods and products for shipment and logs them into the system. Keeps accurate records of all transactions.
Location: Charlotte, NC 28206
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay Rate: $18/hour Essential Functions: - Receives materials and supplies into the warehouse.
- Visually examine for damage before entering into the inventory or storage area.
- Maintains the cleanliness and safety of the receiving area and warehouse.
- Uses the inventory control system to track the status of goods and materials.
- Prepares products and goods for shipment. Assures proper packaging to avoid damage. Prepares associated paperwork including shipping labels, invoice and instructions.

Additional Responsibilities: - Operate forklifts
- Other warehouse duties as needed.
- Familiar with UPS WorldShip System as well as FedEx System
Qualifications to Meet Minimum Requirements: - Completion of high school and trade school and over six months of related experience or equivalent combination of formal education/training and experience.
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to receive and store goods and materials.
- Ability to use a computer system to track goods and materials.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Working Conditions: Plant/warehouse environment.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00
